Mo Rocca Thinks We’re Sluts

July 3rd, 2008

We have to hand it CNN’s Mo Rocca for calling attention to BLUE BALLED’s most obvious but yet unrecognized pun to date. Check out the coverage here and feel free to incorporate it directly into your TruthThroughAction.org vernacular.

Josh + Fox News = HAWT!

Our Creative Director, Josh Sugarman, went on Fox New Election Central today to talk about TruthThroughAction.org with Heather Nauert. He kicked butt. See for yourself:

Damning and Scary

June 19th, 2008

We at TruthThoughAction.org are going to continue to deliver smart, edgy short films about this election. However, sometimes we see some of that short form video snack food stuff and want to pass it on.

This video from Brave New Films is pretty darn alarming, so here you go.

With McCain, be afraid, be very afraid:

Bill O’Reilly thinks we’re special

June 17th, 2008

Nothing like being covered by Fox News twice in one week! Maybe they’re secretly obsessed with us or maybe they found out that we’re secretly obsessed with them (why were we even watching FOX to find out they covered us?!).

Anyway, Bill O’Reilly talked about “Blue Balled” tonight and the effect TruthThroughAction.org’s films will have on voting.

Of course he showed the video, but never thought to mention our name or the name of the video. Oh well… you found it from the Google!

Google 1 — Billo NOTHING!

Enjoy the clip (and thanks to Newshounds for your coverage!):

FOX News thinks we’re foxy

June 14th, 2008

Thanks to News Hounds for catching this one: it looks like FOX News was interested enough with what we’re doing to put up a little segment about it.

Check out the video:

I don’t think Michelle Malkin likes us

June 12th, 2008

Apparently, #1 Ann Coulter Wannabe Michelle Malkin doesn’t like what we’re up to.

Compliment taken.

Michelle’s post was in response to this great article on ABCNews.com this morning.

Not surprisingly, Michelle reveals a deep, dark, Republican fear of being ugly and bad in bed. Unfortunately for her, fellow Republican Party members have already admitted to this. ;-)

Coverage and Comments in The Huffington Post

June 11th, 2008

We’re quite pleased to announce that TruthThroughAction.org and “Blue Balled” was covered recently at The Huffington Post.

One of the best parts of having the video and our group’s message posted on a place like The Huffington Post has been reading the comments from their loyal readers. Most of these comments have been overwhelmingly positivie, and many have been as funny as Blue Balled itself. Below, find some of our favorite comments from the article:

MizLiz said:

That was one cute clip — I’ll have to send that to my 40-ish kids.
You sure those actors were over 18? Migawd, they looked young!
Of course, being old will do that.

Underthematrix said:

Okay maybe it’s my age (57) and gender (female) but that was just made of awesomeness and the funiest thing I’ve seen in a long time regarding politics… The Clark Kent look of the hot Dem guy who turns into a political Superman sex machine - priceless!!

rbspickles had a funny story of her own:

This is too funny! A couple of years ago my late husband bought a box of misc. stuff at a garage sale. I went through it and found an 8X10 framed pic of HW. I literally had a fit and burned it.

and finally, RFG45 had my favorite personal story:

Priceless. I was recently at a wedding and met a beautiful blonde girl. We were having a great time until we started talking about politics, where she informed me she was a huge McCain supporter and was positive that Obama had gone to “Muslim School.” Yes, I said it…Muslim School.

I promptly changed seats and ended up hooking up with one of her friends instead later that night…an Obama supporter. Ha!

Thanks for all the support everyone! More exciting press news is coming soon.
